Mississippi legislators pass bill to prohibit critical race theory in schools

Mississippi legislators have passed the Critical Race Theory Prohibit bill.

The House was in session on Thursday when the vote was decided.

Supporters of the bill said that CRT teaches victimhood, while those opposed to the bill said that they fear it could censor the teaching of Mississippi's history.

The House Democratic Caucus said that it has not been a good day in Mississippi.
